Everybody’s talkin bout rape jokes! I like to avoid that subject when I can, but I just read an article written by one of my favorite online writers who said that jokes about rape and jokes about women getting raped are different, and that the former has real potential to be funny.
Exactly this. I’ve lost more than one friend because they just couldn’t understand why rape jokes could be offensive. Someone even told me, “it’s been 10 years, get over it.” FUCK YOU.
This is the culture we are ALL living in. It’s scary as fuck.
